I am going to give you a run down of the two scenes that we were involved in and confirm some casting info for you.
Scene #1 - Concert with Morris Day and the Time.
This is actually the final scene of the movie. We played that part of the crowd at a Morris Day concert in Red Bank, NJ. The Time played their hit song from 1986 "Jungle Love". Principal cast involved in this scene were Jay, Silent Bob, FBI Agent (Wil Ferrell), Justice (Shannon Elizabeth) and an orangutan. At one point during the song Jay and Silent Bob jump on stage and start dancing with the band. This was an extremely fun scene to shoot. Jason Lee, Brian O'Halloran, Ali Larter and Jeff Anderson made appearances during the shoot. Jason Lee came on stage during a break in the shoot dressed as Banky and the crowd went nuts.
Scene #2 - World Premiere of "Bluntman & Chronic: The Movie"
Starring James van Der Beek and Jason Biggs and Jay and Silent Bob respectively. There were movie posters of the movie posted around the El Ray and they looked amazing, I should have a picture in the next few days if the ones I took came out. Van Der Beek really did look like Jay, but Jason Biggs was too skinny for Silent Bob. Still it was fun.
During this scene we played movie patron's exiting the theatre after seeing "Bluntman & Chronic". Principal Cast in this scene was Banky, Dante, Randall, Walt, Steve Dave, Trish, Alysa Jones, Hooper, Wil Ferrel and Shannon Elizabeth. The cast came out in pairs surrounded by extra's. The first pair was Dante and Randall, the second pair was Wil Ferrell and Shannon Elizabeth with two Corrections officers in tow. Third was Walt and Steve Dave, who was wearing a anti-Bluntman and Chronic T-Shirt. The fourth pair was Banky and Hooper. This was another fun scene to shoot.
